Kyiv Volunteer Charity Foundation is rebuilding the bridge between children and miracles
"Kids for kids" is a project that will allow kids who are now far from the war to put their peace and care in a box and send it to their peers in Ukraine. Because no one understands children like other children.
Every kid who wants to support another child in Ukraine can assemble their box. They can put in everything that one would show their best friend. Everything they would like for themselves, everything that can distract them. Toys, notebooks for secrets, socks with superheroes, a dear pebble or a seashell from a distant beach, a treat or a handwritten letter with a return address for contact. Anything that will unite two distant, but so close worlds. Everything that will remind them what it's like to be kids who are taken care of and receive gifts of love and warmth.

Volunteers of the Kyiv Volunteer Charity Foundation will collect all packages from Europe and deliver them to children from the de-occupied territories, orphans, young hospital patients and children who were forced to leave their homes.

When you're with friends, you want to go on the swings, play with a ball, draw, or even poke holes in the sand with a stick, tell them everything you saw in a cartoon, brag about new toys, and sometimes play fight. You want your friends to be nearby. The war erases memories of a simple, happy childhood - like an eraser in a notebook. In Ukraine, children are gradually forgetting what it is like to run freely in the park, to live without fear and the necessity to hide in bomb shelters several times a day. They forget what their friends, who now live thousands of miles away, look like. But despite all that, they remain children and believe in miracles.
